Biographical information

Boaz Barak earned his Ph.D. in Neurosciences from the direct program for excellent students in Neurosciences in Tel Aviv University, focusing on the molecular mechanism underlying learning and memory and synaptic plasticity. Prior to his Ph.D. studies, Boaz took part in research projects studying addiction (Weizmann Institute of Science) and learning abilities (Berkeley, University of California). Boaz received his B.Sc. in Biology with distinction from Tel Aviv University.
